One of the few Crichton books that fails to impress. But thats understandable, considering that he wrote it pretty early in his career.

This was a quick read - I finished it over just two evenings, and found it very interesting. Crichton did a ton of research, as usual. When I bought it, I didn't realize it was written nearly 40 years aso; the references to then-current technology were nostalgic.

I'm sorry I wasted my time on this one. I find it hard to believe that Crichton wrote it.

The computer terminology is a bit dated (to be expected). Nonetheless, it's a fun study in how the road to hell can be paved with good intentions.
