It certainly changes the way I view 'The Alchemist' (only other book of his which Ive read). Essentially, Mr Coelho is a Magus, a seeker in an esoteric tradition of magic and demons and angels. I found the book to be readable and interesting, both for the ideas discussed and the conversational tone.   hide
