I found this book quite depressing. Some parts of this book are truly disturbing, and it's hard to believe the things some people can do when they're desperate. Some parts make you smile to yourself, some make you laugh out loud, some bring back memories of your own childhood, and some bring tears to your eyes. I was able to relate to it in a few ways, though the book looks at life through the eyes of a teenage girl. This book may leave you feeling disturbed, or introspective after you're done with it. I must also mention that there is a good deal of teenage sex involved in this book. I found this book very interesting and I was hooked to it right till the very end. Those of you who like happy endings, this book is not for you, unless you have a freakishly positive outlook on life.   hide
