I think it's suitable for a beginner but I can't say more than that. The first chapter is a good read when I didn't know QM yet. There's no really insightful comment along the way. And the last chapter gets a lot of things wrong (according to my teacher which is an expert in quantum information). In my opinion, Zettili can also be considered as undergrad texts and...more

Very mediocre undergraduate QM text; unfortunately, there isn't much on this level that's any better. Too brief, leaving some subjects only halfway explained, and not enough proofs. Have grad-level texts handy for reference if you're using this for a class.
