Sons and Lovers

I quite enjoyed it. I think I will need to read more Lawrence. His writing is lovely, and the characters all seem real and multi-dimensional.

Well, I read MOST of it. Which makes it more telling that I didn't even bother to finish it.

I (my teenage self) identified so much with Miriam, that I had to put the book down at times. Gorgeously written - if there's a master of the English language, it'll have to be Lawrence.
