Lady Susan, The Watsons, Sanditon (Penguin Classics)

The Watsons promised to be predictable with a slightly goody-two-shoes heroine akin to Fanny Price, and Lady Susan was funny in a sort of mortifying way...but the winner is Sanditon - totally sparkling. Could have been her best novel. I loved it and can't wait to find some papers on it.

My least favorite Jane Austen novel...rather cynical.

Excellent ladies'read; Jane Austen fans will also love this, one of her last books.

sandition was boring, but the other two were good! not as good as the classics, but still entertaining. found sandition a bit boring :(
