How does one rate Tacitus the annals of Imperial Rome or any of the other books I am listing? If the knob goes to 10, then all my books, and the many others that escape em right now, should have a knob that turns to 11!

The best thing about Tacitus is that he is a Comedian. This is definitely one of my favorite books.

political intrigue. powerful women in rome were totally wicked. but the lists of unpronouncable names kills the book, although history is just a list of names.
