Disjointed and based upon a number of presupposed ideas which have not been adequately questioned. Marx and Engels are adept at noticing the hierarchal patterns in history but don't proceed to ask why those patterns have been so consistent. Unfortunately, Marx and Engels are 11 years too early, as Darwin and Nietzsche's ideas on human populations and humans in the state of nature refute...more

Historical analysis was good, predictions were off. I always enjoy the first two thirds more than the last third.
