King Lear

i don't know why?but i cry every time i read it !!!

Read this one back in High School. Didn't like it at first..but then the story grew on me. King Lear rejects his one honest and loving daughter in favour of 2 (was it 2?) other deceitful and greedy children over a misunderstanding which occurs at the beginning of the play. This sets up events which eventually lead to the downfall of Lear...and as usual a tragic ending.

I became sad when I read it it is a play that everyone must read it and think of it

All I can say is this: Amusingly disturbing
