The Witches

One awesome book, one of my very favorites when I was little! It certainly has its really scary moments and there were phases that haunted my dreams for quite a while! Still I loved it!

OMG I remember this book-- it was so good! Another book adaptation my grandmother taped for me on VHS and I watched over and over again. So good. Not my favorite Dahl but still so very entertaining. And scary!

As a young child, I truly believed this book was a fact-filled report on the underground world of witches.

my parents made me feel guilty for liking this book because real witches are just ordinary people who happen to practice an uncommon religion and so on and so forth, but...i am still glad that roald dahl wrote a scary book about fake witches for small children.
