What an amazingly tragic heroine! I love the inescapability of it all! I'm usually a 'happy ending' girl but adore the twists and turns, the maybes, the struggles and the impending doom for love of this story.
Great book! Excellent writer. The descriptions and imagery are so vivid, and the vocabulary so luscious!
If you like realistic fiction, and TRAGEDIES then this book will be a good read.
I really loved this book. Even though I do not agree with the general philosophy of natural instincts in man being the only thing that is right instead of religious morals, I could appreciate how well it was expressed.
