not bad ...just finished it ..a light book

I read this during a period when I was reading a lot of crap; it stands out as memorable and full of interesting comparisons to the mess that is the status system in the West compared to poverty in third world countries.

Helen's style of writing is... predictable. The beginning was a downer given the two settings clumsily coming together. Yeah, that would be a good role for him. Even worse, just when I thought I had escaped the sorrow of losing Michael Jackson, his name pops up one the very last page of the book. Damn.   hide
