Not only is this the greatest Gothic-era novel of all time, it is illustreated by the world's eminent neo-Victorian lady eccentric. I urge you to read this book and then waste your entire Sunday evening inventing your own illustrations to go along.
Jane Eyre is incredible, but this edition is amazing in itself. Beautifully illustrated with colorful gothic drawings by Dame Darcy. I highly recommend reading and buying this edition.
Jane Eyre is and always has been a fantastic book, and the illustrations only add to its appeal. I highly recommend to new readers and Bronte fans alike.
