more Very similar to The Truth About Forever, girl who's quiet and unsure of herself, grows during the summer while she works at a food-industry place and falls in love with a co-worker, who is an artist. However, I very much enjoyed it. I connected to her main character, and the battle that her and her family members deal with weight/perceptions of others linked with it. There were deep insights and poetic parts that never seemed forced, but were always honest and seemed to belong. The effortlessness of her work, shows me just how much effort she puts into her work. Read this when you are feeling down, feeling romantic, feeling empowered, or in need of empowering. It's more than just chick-lit.
