I really enjoyed the book :D But, I had one little problem...I thought it ended too abruptly and I didn't see much of a resolution in the end: like, will she ever get back with Macon Faulkner. She stated that she didn't love him, but I didn't quite believe it and I wanted her to prove herself wrong. I also wanted her to help Macon become the good guy (along the lines of "A Walk To Remember"),...more

I absolutely adore this book. Even though I've outgrown the "teenage chick flick" genre, I'll reread this book time and time again. I'm still not 100% over the botch job they did turning this into a movie.

This is one of my all time favorite books. I love anything by Sarah Dessen. She can bring emotion into her books, like, you can feel what the characters are feeling. I also love the way she ties her books into eachother, such as, surpirse visits from charaters from her different books, or the locations and stuff like that. Love her stuff!!

i felt like i could relate SO much to these characters...almost like I was reading a book about my best friend and myself. definitely one of my favorite books of all time. Sarah Dessen is amazing. and yes, Edwarda, How to Deal was based on this book.

The movie How To Deal didn't do this book any justice by combining it with another one of the authors books. This story is great just by itself, and there is plenty of drama to go around. I read this book probably near 50 times during middle and high school, because it seemed so real to me.
