I am going to marry Dexter. Just so all of you fellow Sarah Dessen lovers know. He's mine. I will bitch slap for that boy ;D One of my favorite parts in the book: "If you must know," I said, as if it was absolutely no big deal whatsoever, "it's just this plastic wear I bought at Linen's Etc." He thought about this. "Plastic ware." "Yes. It was on sale." We stood there. From inside the...more

Sarah Dessen is definately up there on my list of favorite author's, but I loved this book the most. It's funny, tough, and at times, heartbreaking; as all of her books are. Remy is amazingly screwed up, and I adore Dexter! The way he sees through her is perfect. And all of the quirks!! Lol. The bets are hilarious, and monkey, and the band... This is one of my favorite books. The characters (all of them) and the scenes (for me, especially with the photo's that Dexter gave Remy) leap right off the page and into your heart. I recomend this HIGHLY. You won't be disappointed.

One of my favorite books of all time, Remy and Dexter (especially Dexter) jump off of the pages. While the ending is for the most part happy, it is no fairy tale "happily ever after." It was a realistic love story that had its share of ups and downs, but through it all, was inspiring just like all of Sarah Dessen's books are.
