Beautifully written mystery novel. Could not put it down!

This was a great book. I loved everything about the way this author writes. The concept of the Cemetery of Forgotten Books is brilliant. This book has interesting characters, and hateful characters. It has mystery, love and devotion and even a little bit of mysticism. A great read. I think my friends, John & Marcia, and sister-in-law, Barb, would love it.

Picked this up at a used bookstore in Pike Place Market run by an Italian lady who got this book from friends in Spain and loved it.

An amazing book. It will rekindle your belief in the power of the written word. Zafon transports you back in time to post-war Barcelona, and you might never want to leave.
