Life of Pi A Novel

This book isn't nearly as good as it sounds like it would be.

I will hate this book until the very end and then I will proclaim it to be the best book ever, and proceed to make everyone read it.

Overrated

Basically an allegory to say, Since you can't prove one way or the other, go with the story that makes you feel better. And that is why you should believe in God. I don't buy that premise, it is weak and lacking Jesus. But it is a really fun survival story that you can't put down (at least the last half of the book is).

An intriguing story which is well written and gets you thinking about what life throws at you at certain unexpected times. Even knowing this is a novel, the presentaion makes you know this could really happen and the feelings depicted real. After reading this book I believe in novels.
