Life of Pi A Novel

Really interesting and a very trippy story. A must read.

I made it all the way to chapter 33, which sounds like a lot, but not if you'd tried to read this book. I had such a hard time following the book. Supposedly, my friends, who kept reading said that I stopped reading just as it was starting to get good. I did not like this book at all.

I don't see how the book can make someone believe in God - a moving and entertaining story none the less.

I liked this book a lot. I mainly picked it up, after reading the jacket at the library, to see how the author could write a story involving all the disparate elements that seemed to be involved. I liked this book a lot. I mainly picked it up, after reading the jacket at the library, to see how the author could write a story involving all the disparate elements that seemed to be involved. At one point it seemed as if it was heading, stylistically towards Gabriel García Márquez but it never maintained that direction, instead going it's own way. The ending was good and unexpected and the book reads very well and quickly.   hide
