The Vicomte de Bragelonne opens an epic adventure which continues with Louise de La Valliere and reaches its climax in The Man in the Iron Mask. This new edition of the classic translation presents a key episode in the Musketeers saga, fully annotated and with an introduction by a leading Dumas scholar. less
Mmmm el final de la saga de los mosqueteros... aburrido a más no poder en la primera parte, exceptuando los primeros capitulos. En realidad el personaje central es Luis XIV tratando de hicarle diente a la novia de Raúl...
Unexpectedly worse than the preceding parts. May be because of translation quality I guess. Read all three parts in Vietnamese but by different translators.
All the Dumas (father) books I read during childhood, enjoyed the adventures and characters very much, re-reading them often. The 3 musketeers- 20 years after- vicomte de bragelonne trilogy is a great gift to give to kids who like reading!
Excellent in parts but seems to flit between stories. Aramis and Porthos are hardly in it. Given the mysteries it could have been brilliant. Reading the Louise de la Valliere now so hopefully will complete mysteries in that.
