Another book that I would have preferred to not know anything about the author. This book was a difficult read beacuse I was irritated with the Author the entire time because of an introduction written by someone else. I might have been able to enjoy it more if the introduction was written by someone who actually appreciated the author.

Brilliant. Written in a time of socialist/communist ideas and uprisings it depicts feelings of the time and effectively predicts the nature and broad scope of the Russian revolution and its after effects. Only prevented from 5 stars by a slightly rambling and disjointed story at times.

Alternatively known as Demons, or the The Possessed, this book is rather challenging as it does not give it's rewards until after a lot of personal investment. Well worth the effort though as it pokes a lot of fun at the ridiculousness our politics creates.

Terrific Novel. New Generation and Desilusion of concept of this fanatical belief about goodness of pseudo Education and Pseudo Educated people.

It was good, but isn't going to challenge Brothers Karamazov as my favourite Dostoevsky! That is a pretty tall order though.....
