Lost Scriptures: Books that Did Not Make It into the New Testament

This is a very thorough and interesting review of ancient Christian writings that didn't make it into the today's Bible for various reasons. The author is a former fundamentalist Christian and does interject disillusionment with his former beliefs. If you can tolerate that bias its pretty good reading.

A fascinating and explanatory book at why certain gospels were left out, omitted altogether, or suppressed completely. While it doesn't answer every question, it uses facts and historical basis to try to explain the final accounts of the New Testament, and Yeshua's divinity.
