Having read a number of books on writing, I find that Stephen King does sum this one very well. There is little, to no bullshit in this thin book. The Elements are set out in easy to understand way, with clear examples. This is both a book to read and inwardly digest, as well as a reference book. Having read a number of books on writing, I find that Stephen King does sum this one very well. There is little, to no bullshit in this thin book. The Elements are set out in easy to understand way, with clear examples. This is both a book to read and inwardly digest, as well as a reference book. THere is a free windows help file version of this floating around. For any one looking to write, or who has to write reports, email, facebook profiles, and even reviews for books they have read, get it. Read it. And, my version was really cool, as some artist I've never heard of, put in some really nice pictures.   hide
