I don't get this play. It's not even the best O'Neill I've read. It's not a peek into his soul as it's advertised. It's just a depressing pile of shit. I want my wasted time back.

A masterpiece, not just among plays, but of literature for all time. O'Neil is my totally dice. Lonliness, isolation, great despair and longing for a better life for those around you. God I love this play, its all about family kid, all about family.

The whole play takes place in one house in 26 hours where reader observes 26 hours of endless arguing with some inserts of love. It reminds me a horror movie with the commercials of Kay Jewelers during the incredible watch. While kisses begin with Kay, arguments in the play begin with talks about past and some glasses of whiskey. Who said that Russians drink a lot?

Not glamorous or brilliant, but it does speak volumes about O'Neil.
