Tawny Scrawny Lion (A Little Golden Book)

Can't really remember being read this one too much when I was little, and I can probably undestand why, it doesn't appeal to me now, so I doubt it would have when I was younger. Can't really remember being read this one too much when I was little, and I can probably undestand why, it doesn't appeal to me now, so I doubt it would have when I was younger. The idea of the lion becoming 'domesticated' and being able to eat a cooked meal rather than the wildlife is a nice idea, however it goes against the circle of life, and while the other animals are happy the lion now eats carrots with the rabbit, I can't see them wanting to change their diet so they will stop eating natural things.   hide
