Well written and reasearch into the psychologoical and behaviorally aspects of driving. Didn't think Nash's equilibrium, Braess paradox, "tragedy of the commons, queing theory, and risk homeostatis could be so interesing.
For anyone who is interested in how merging works, why safety measures aren't so safe, the psychology of male drivers (ok, that part can never be explained). Loved this book.

This book took me up to and well past everything I had come to understand, as well as demonstrating how often the conventional wisdom about problems and solutions are completely and utterly wrong. Chapters are largely separate, so it is a book that permits frequent breaks, but the world it reveals is something I shall observe with renewed wonder for some time to come. hide
