Letter to a Christian Nation

very difficult book to read because it was so challenging to my faith. i'm glad i read it, but i wouldn't suggest reading it without someone (a fellow christian preferably) to discuss it indepth with.

This is fantastic read. It shows the problem that the west is facing because of extreme religious beliefs. Easy to read.

It had less of an effect on me since I read Hitchens' god Is Not Great before it...

Accomplishes what it sets out to achieve. Short and concise, this book is a great summary of the main points put forward The God Delusion and God is not Great. The length makes it perfect for lending to others, it can be read in an hour or so and may be just the thing to get someone you know thinking along 21st century lines.

Succint, and to the point. Sam gets across in this little book what others need hundred of pages for.

I bought it in support of the author. As I'm not in the target audience, it wasn't really aimed at me. I liked some examples and some turns of phrase.
