A Country Called Home

This book has a decent story but is a bit sluggish at times. The "promised" tragedy was somewhat of a letdown, and what followed really just was a means to a literal end of the book. By the end, I was more interested in the story again, but I don't know that I'd recommend this.

I read this book in 4 days. What a great story. Barnes brings you right to the woods by the river in Idaho. I feel great pain for the main character.

More of a girlie book than I first thought, but well written.
