I liked the focused organization of accounts of deceit, lies, incompetence, cronyism, etc in many areas including energy, economy, science, medicine, health care, international relations etc etc in the Bush administration. Some of her interactions were first-hand with major figures including the current Republican presidential candidate. The book contains lots of documentation and unlike the opposite end of the political spectrum seldom chooses to demonize the people being discussed. There are some attempts at humor and sarcasm but they fall far short of the innuendo and outright falsehoods used by her opponents. Much of the book merely reinforced what I already knew, that the Bush presidency has been a disaster for our country and that a continuation of it through John McCain would be more of the same.
