This was a great read for me! If you want to know about John Lennon and the Beatles, or just want to know more, this is the perfect insider story written by his first wife and with a forward by his first son!

I really enjoyed reading this book very much! I could almost hear Cynthia speaking as I read her words! I love a book that I just can't put down. I really enjoyed reading John. I could almost hear Cynthia speaking the words herself as I read them.I love a good book that I can't put down...page turner!

I loved this book. Thought it was really interesting. Although I didn't like her reflection at the end. :-(

Although I'd LOVE deep, psychological insight into John Lennon, the reality is that he is a musical genius and visionary extraordinarie, but just a flawed person at the same time. As is his first wife... so I did not see much new information here, but I was reminded (a valuable reminder) just how limited human relationships are and how complicated people themselves are.

This was absolute honesty, really. She told it as it was...there was no need to embellish her role, just to establish that it did exist. Much of her influence is disregarded as Yoko soon took her place, but it cannot be ignored. She was one of the few women in John Lennon's life that had a positive influence on him.
