more Flynn takes us through a fascinating tour of the development of the Left as a political entity in America. Some of his key posits are that the Left is the symbol of "progress" to utopianism, and as such does not look to the past, only to the future. As a result, Flynn argues, the Left is actually just repeating itself over and over again, and in fact it has become more "conservative" than even the Right. Flynn discusses the three main "enemies" of the Left, marriage, religion, and private property, and he cogently makes the case that these three aspects of society have always been vehemently opposed since the earliest days of the Left, the 1820's. Flynn also compares and contrasts "Freedom Left" with "Force Left," communism vs. Communism, and the imposition of the will of the elite that characterizes typical Leftist agenda.Flynn's writing style is humorous and sarcastic, but don't think that he is unbiased - you will be sorely disappointed if you do! All in all, a great read.
