Started out really good, then got too far out for me, kind of reminds me of Jonathan Carrol...

Overall, I enjoyed the magic, mystery, folklore, and adventure in this book. I think that Margot Berwin is a gifted writer, and I hope to read more from her in the future. Some of it was so beautifully detailed & descriptive, while other parts I felt the author should have expanded upon. what an awesome book, great characters...just a captivating story!!!! I had a hard time putting it down!!!!!!!

It's one of my favorites for (cough-cough)reasons that are apparent to those of you who know me well, ha-ha!!!
