As a former camper (6 years at Camp Arbutus, Mayfield, MI), I was not overly impressed with this book. Maybe because this book focused camping in the 1980s, and I attended camp in the 70s. Our camp had no camp socials (except for the times we raided Camp Hazawika down the lake).
