A real eye opener! This book sheds light on a lot of the misconceptions about both world wars.

Listened to the audiobook. There are lots of interesting details in the book, especially about the run up to the second world war. But, PB gives too little credit to Hitler's determination to dominate Europe, nor does he have a good grip on Hitlers fickleness. And man does he have an Axe to grind with Churchill. Brace yourself for some heavy duty realpolitik that you may not agree with.
