I first first the movie entitled ELEGY starring Ben Kingsley and Penelope Cruz. I was mesmerised and enchanted by the beauty of the truth revealed about eros,love and mortality. It was an excellent movie! One of my favourites for 2008. Highly recommended for your viewing. Now i am reading the book and 'bravo' goes out to Philip Roth.

Has a few remarkable choice passages on sex, aging, and death that are a must read.. Starts with flourish, ends lame.

Thought provoking. Film Elegy really good. Loved this book. Seen Elegy film based on it. Some nudity for the guys!
