You are grabbed right from the start, and doesn't let you go until the finish. Lisa Ungers created great atmosphere, and exciting plot and emotionally charged characters. Would recommend readers to read Fragile first, because dark is a spin-off of that novel.

I love a good mystery and this was a really good one. Lisa Unger is a terrific suspense writer. This is a novel with two separate stories that become intertwined and involve a cold case of a missing woman, a psychic, a struggling mother daughter relationship, a retired detective you just have to love, and a really bad psychopath. Who could ask for more?
