I think that this is a book that would shake up anyone's life a little, though each reader will certainly take away something different from it. For me it was equally enjoyable and discomforting - in the way that having one's view of life rocked at its foundation is bound to be jarring.

Don't let the title fool you, this book is not about being lazy, easy money, or a get-rich quick scheme. It has some good thoughts on life and some good concepts that could make anyone more effective. I've read it once and I'll read it again right away to start practicing some of the concepts.

Packed with useful tips and ideas on how to work smarter and become more efficient. Some ideas are not exactly groundbreaking, e.g. “How to eliminate 50% of your work in 48 hours using the principles of a forgotten Italian economist” is simply the good old 80/20 rule. Some ideas require a great leap of faith while others won’t work as soon as everybody else starts doing the same thing. ...more

Way more practical than its get-rich-quick title would suggest. In case you're wondering how one could possibly have a four-hour work week, the big secret is: a lot of creativity, automated workflows, decluttering your life, and geoarbitrage (a fancy word for spending money where the dollar is worth more and making money where it's worth less). Interesting and motivational book--I can't fully buy into the core idea, since it requires a direct-sales approach (similar to the "tiny little ads" guy from late night TV). However, the book successfully distills a lot of b-school concepts and marketing/promotional knowhow in practical and implementable steps.
