The Informationist: A Thriller

Wow, I am hoping the author is writing a series.

WOW! Awesome book! Really mad at the author for events that shall not be spoken of, but not much I can do about that. Well written and researched. I literally could not put it down.

For anyone who like Lisbeth Salander, this is a great book! In fact, I think I liked Munroe better! Did not want to put it down!

This is what could be called a kick-ass novel-almost a bit too much for my taste. The author is kind of like a female version of Lawrence Block. The story is somewhat complex, and I admit that I missed a couple of seemingly important things. However, it moves along nicely and the reader is driven to discover where the story is going. It involves the search for a young woman who may or may not be dead in Africa, and the lead woman character coming to grips with her dysfunctional past. The story is fast paced, violent at times, and the lead character has intelligence and physical skill that are almost superhuman.   hide

This book is compared to Steig Larsson's Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series, so if you liked that trilogy you should try this author.
