Too much about polity, more theological approach needed.

Good book. I could take or leave some of his suggestions for what a post modern church might look like. But he has a heart for reaching this subculture and that comes through loud and clear. Good book. I could take or leave some of his suggestions for what a post modern church might look like. But he has a heart for reaching this subculture and that comes through loud and clear. It was motivating. I agree with him that the majority of Christians are too culturally separated from the very people we need to connect with. It was an interesting read. I think often times when this issue of being missionaries to the people around us is discussed, it can be too focused on systems and plans, rather than Jesus. I think Kimball does a pretty good job of not falling into that pit.   hide
