Generation X: Tales For an Accelerated Culture

Would it hurt to have had a plot? Really? This is Dougls Coupland's first novel, so I'll give him another try later on and hope that this was just something that I didn't quite 'get'.

I can't get enough of Coupland....Waiting forward for some of his books that i haven't read yet(Mrs Wiyoming,Generation A,The Gum Thief,All Famillies Are Psychotic).....

Hilarious!

Coupland invents the term "McJob" and claims all twentysomething culture for himself. A wonderful collection of short stories, cynical, jaded, ironic and yet interspersed with moments of surprising poignancy. Always a timely reminder that the best hedge against mediocrity lies within yourself.
