i have found my favorite.. i read it twice.

I am a full-time Narcissus with pretty much no Goldmund in me and loving it. My philosophy does not agree with Hesse who clearly prefers Goldmund and claims him to be more enlightened in a certain twisted way. The book talks a lot about physical experiences and acknowledging the passions within you. However, spiritual/mind experience is just quickly skimmed over in a rather shallow manner....more

Intuitive philosophy is clearly not my kind of thing. I prefer to analyse. Oh, by the way - it's a sexy book. Very, very sexy.   hide
