COULD THIS BE ANY MORE CLICHE?
At one point of this book, poor Eric is completely turned into a jerk (that I might say, he wasn't before) just because Zoey had to get rid of his ass. So come on, the characters are like the typical types of characters and don't have actual depth to them- smart gay boy, cute gay boy, possessive hot boyfriend with a bitch for a rebound, the twins, that totally annoyed me, even though they are my second favourite characters after this new raver mocker (who isn't consistently evil, which is not right!)
"Follow your heart!" Zoey's grandma said, and all I could think about is that Zoey is a total bitch who always finds way to seem righteous... gah!
The righting style seems like it was a teenager who wrote the story, which a I guess is right, since Zoey is telling the story, but there were times I felt like I was reading a fan fiction or something instead of an actual book.
I'm going to read Burned only because I need to finish what I started, after six books I am starting to hope the bad guys win...
