I really don't think that Ludlum really wanted the series to be continued, as The Bourne Ultimatum really seemed to wrap up the original trilogy. That aside though, I do think that Lustbader did do a decent job with this book. He is a bit easier to read than Ludlum, as he doesn't go so far into detail about everything as Ludlum did. That aside though, I do think that Lustbader did do a decent job with this book. He is a bit easier to read than Ludlum, as he doesn't go so far into detail about everything as Ludlum did. He did a good job though at keeping the story interesting. I thought it was good, I just think that Ludlum was a bit better. Not bad though for picking up another authors work.I only had a few problems with this book. Jason Bourne had a lot of trouble with starting to feel the affects of growing old in The Bourne Ultimatum, and in this story he hardly ever struggles with age. Also, another side note is at the end Jason Bourne fluently speaks Russian, which he never understood in the original trilogy. Nitpicking, but yeah :). Thought it was a good book, and for keeping with the Bourne series, Lustbader is readable. Now on to the next two books his series.
