Interesting survey of several studies on how cirumstances of birth & upbringing can affect success later in life. Nothing new here, and a lot of his conclusions are unsupported and/or based on anecdotal evidence, but it's written in a clear, accessible, easy-to-read style.

This book had such interesting information surrounding education and relative age (where your birthday falls in the school year) as well as THE ACHEIVEMENT GAP! Ehren, Rachel and I all loved it.

A very interesting book that makes one 're-look' at the definition of genius. I would like to point out the fact that in Singapore, students are taught Maths in English. We read '15' as fifteen and not 'ten-five'; '3/5' as three-fifths and not 'out of five parts, take three' as suggested in the book. Much better than the other one

Good book and an easy read. Consistent style, so I knew what to expect. Not sure I would hang my hat on many of theories but they are insightful and entertaining.

Success defined in its most crude, factual, proven and scientific way!

I normally don't like reading for learning - just for leisure. This book is well written for both. I thoroughly enjoyed it and have been talking about it for weeks! Highly recommend it!

I like this book. It give a great insight into what actually it takes to be a outlier....10K hours of practice (experience) in what we do or passionate about.
