This is a good book with very interesting dynamics across social classes.

This is a book that everyone should read at least once. I read it twice and saw something different...a thought...a connection each time

the story kept me interested. Feel like it was alittle over the top and hard for me to imagine some of the things Lucky (Thomas) did at such a young age. Maybe if he had been a few years older it would have been more believable to me. The ending was disappointing. But the story of Brotherly love no matter your race or background was compelling for me

One of the intermittently thunderous Moseley's finest.

a little too cliche and unbelievable. also very plainly written, not typical walter mosley.

great read. love the relationship between the "brothers". I also feel it leaves you wondering, who really is the Fortunate Son?

Is it just me or did this book remind anyone else (slightly)of the Kite Runner? Anyway its an interesting story but the ending was too unrealistic.

My favorite book ever by Mosley. The story was so beautifully told and the characters were so well developed. Great read!

one of the absolute best books i have ever read!!! i've never been much of a reader, but once i really began getting into books, this quickly took it's spot at the top of my list. Walter Mosley wrote this so well, and gets you so involved with the characters and the storyline, it is a definite must-read!

Interesting story about two brothers - one black, one white - and how, though they were separated at a very young age, their lives later converged in a series of very intriguing events. Liked the book, didn't care for the ending.
