I'm very torn about this book. When I first started reading it, maybe because I was ready to not like it due to a friend's tip-off, the style of it struck me as odd. Everything was more mature somehow. It didn't have the lightheartedness to it anymore. It actually made me have a nightmare. Everything was just too unrealistic. Yes, it is a fantasy but there was no connection anymore with the main character, and then things that happen...But still, when I first finished it, I did love it, the ending made me happy. And then I started reading reviews on Amazon. Boy. I swayed. Now, I think it is an okay book, but it's lacking and Stephenie Meyer could have done better.   hide
