The first half is a biography of Mr King, which obviously may be more interesting to his fans (of which I count myself an ardent one, his books fill an entire shelf and a half on my bookcase) but I somewhat biasedly think everyone would enjoy as my god has he had a colourful life and my god is he honest.
The second half is tips on writing (hence the name), which, despite having a degree in creative writing, has taught me more about what makes a really good writer than those three entire years did. The man is a genius... shame he's gone off a bit in recent years, though the Cell actually was a geniune return to form. WTF was Lisey's Story all about though? Haven't had the heart to read any since then. King fans - have any of them been worth reading since then?
