The Fellowship of the Ring

This was the first time I have read this book since high school. It was just like I remembered it really wordy and he could go on and on and on about how dark blue the night sky is. However, after all that it was still an amazing book.

My favorite author and my favorite trilogy. I love just how indepth Tolkien made the chemistry between the elements of the book and the brilliant characters. Everything turned to life and I can't say enough of just how much I love this book and the series.

It took me forever to read and there was so much there that didn't need to be there.

I was probably one of the few people who read this AFTER the movie came out. Loved the additional details omitted from the movie.

soooo good!!!

Finished reading this to my 11 year-old daughter a few nights ago. She loved it. We are watching the movie now and she is surprised at the number of changes that were made.

One of the quintessential book series!
