So far my favorite book in the Vampire Chronicles. I just don't have enough good things to say about this book. Definitely a page-turner, "Queen of the Damned" tells the origins of Anne Rice's vampires, and does it in a way no one but Anne Rice could. Anne Rice is always a good read, not only because of her writing style, but because of the historical context in which she places her stories. This book can make you beleive in the goodness of the human race through the eyes of some of the most seemingly evil characters there are.   hide

An excellent read that was very difficult to put down.

This is a fun book to read.
