The Wishsong of Shannara (The Sword of Shannara)

I love that Terry Brooks has such a unique take on magic and how it affects the world around the characters. I am a huge fan of Brin and Jair Ohmsford, by far some of my favorite characters in the entire Shannara Series.

Read the series as a kid and adult. Love it!

I like the fact that there are two of the Shannara children in this one and they managaed to fit another Leah into it. It was nice to see the Ohmsford and Leah family friendship stayed true throughout the ages. I enjoyed being introduced to Cogline and Kimber.
